Background

A physician-led “team-based” care is directed by physicians and delivered by a group of medical specialists. It allows for a more coordinated and all-encompassing approach to care, which may be advantageous. Team-based Care Under Medical Direction is a team-based approach to care involving various combinations of healthcare experts known as physician-led team-based care.

Why is this important?

It’s undeniable that education, along with experiences, is essential. Maintaining excellent service and care standards is one of healthcare’s most crucial components. This is necessary to guarantee that patients get the finest care and treatment. Maintaining a high caliber of service and care is crucial for various reasons.

Data pertaining to the project:

The data show the educational levels of Medical Doctors (MDs) and Doctor of Osteopathy (DOs), Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPMs), and mid-level providers, including Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs) and Pharmacists (RPHs) across 95 counties in Virginia.
