Despite being a care delivery option for decades, the future of telehealth is uncertain. Congress has yet to pass a permanent law to extend the COVID-19 pandemic’s telehealth payment policies. With that, the right balance between telehealth and in-person visits both for patients and providers is unclear as both groups get used to new workflows.
